**Guest Post** Andrea from Beauty by Andrea on her August Faves!

Today we have Andrea from Beauty By Andrea posting her favourite products from August, she focuses mainly on reviews and swatches of beauty products (hence the name of the blog!) and to say she has only been blogging since July she has some fab content, we all know how hard it is as a new blogger so pop over and support her!

Hey everybody! So first of all I really like to thank Jade for inviting me to do a guest post for her because I love reading her blog!  I decided that seeing as another month has come to a close that I would show you all my August Favourites!

These are products that I have been loving throughout the past month! I thought I would divide them into hair, make-up, and nail products to tell you a little more about them.

Favourite Hair Products:
[Andrea did provide a photo for this part but I could not for the life of me get it to upload properly, Sorry! -Jade]

Two hair products which I started using during the month of August are Bed Head Superstar Shampoo and V05 Miracle Concentrate. Superstar shampoo is a sulfate free, volumising shampoo.  Firstly, it smells gorgeous, like sweets! As well as that, it lathers up very well (some sulfate free shampoos don't) and my hair feels so soft after using it.  I wouldn't say it gives my hair massive volume but it does give it a little boost!  It is the best shampoo I have come across in a long time and I can't see myself straying too far from it any time soon!

I also finally got my hands on the VO5 Miracle Concentrate after seeing good reviews of it on a few blogs and needless to say it didn't disappoint! I put a few drops of this into the ends of my hair when wet and it leaves my hair feeling very soft with far less frizz.  I also use a tiny bit in the ends of my hairs and through my layers to tame any frizz or fluffiness after styling too and it works a treat for this.  I will definitely be repurchasing this.

Favourite Make-Up Products

There are a lot of make-up products that I have been using throughout August but I just thought I would pick out 3 items which stood out for me this month.  First of all, the much talked about Sleek Storm Eyeshadow Palette.  I purchased this in July and I have found that I have been reaching for this ahead of my Urban Decay Naked palette.  It has all the colours I need to do my favourite everyday neutral eye, as well as a gorgeous pink/burgandy, green and blue shades for a bit of variety! The eyeshadows are really pigmented and stay in place all day once I use my Urban Decay Primer Potion underneath.  They are easy to blend and I have also tried using some of them wet with great results.  Best of all the Sleek palettes are so affordable.  I need more of them!

The second make-up product I love at the moment is Benefit Hoola Bronzer.  There isn't much to say about this except that I use it every single day for contouring as it is the perfect matte brown colour, and I have not come across a nicer bronzer than it!

I have also loved my Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express Mascara this month.  It has a curved brush that seems to catch all of the lashes, giving length, volume and curl. It is also not crispy or flaky at all and is one of the best mascaras I have used,  The only downside to it is that the formula is quite wet at first but it is beginning to dry up slightly now and it is perfect!

Favourite Nail Polishes

My favourite Nail Polishes this month have been Barry M Berry Ice Cream and China Glaze Pink Voltage..  Barry M Nail Paints are such good quality and so affordable, and Berry Ice Cream is a lovely pale lilac shade.  It is a colour that would look good any time of the year!

China Glaze Pink Voltage is the most gorgeous bright neon pink with a blue pearl to it.  I have done a NOTD with this recently on my blog if you want to check it out in more detail but it is a beautiful and fun colour.  Best of all it dries fast and wears very well!

So that's it for my August favourites, hope you liked my post and thanks again to Jade!
