It's December 1st, I've had Proper Crimbo blasting out of my car radio this morning and I'm cracking out the Christmas gift guides. I must spend months pondering over what to get different people so I thought I'd put some of my pondering to good use and bring you a series of Christmas gift guides for everyone you could possibly need to buy for.

My first one it the best of beauty gift sets. I'd say a beauty gift set is pretty universally acceptable as a Christmas present for any female in your life because who doesn't like to smell/look at least semi-presentable?!

Cult beauty products are generally a winner especially for people who've never been introduced to them. You could be doing someone a huge favour by showing them the delights of the Caudalie Beauty Elixir and paired with a tinted lip balm you've got yourself a nice little set in the form of the Caudalie Secret of Make Up Artist set (£28.00, LookFantastic).

I also find indulgent haircare a winner because let's face it, everyone washes their hair and it's just a bit less of a chore when you get to do it with really good quality products. I'd recommend Redken all day long and the 'All Soft' range is pretty much an all round winner regardless of hair type. The Redken All Soft gift set (£26.13) is beautifully packaged and contains shampoo, conditioner and a hair mask.

I genuinely don't think you can go wrong with L'occitane, especially when you're searching for Christmas presents for mum; they have such a gorgeous range of bath and body products that smell absolutely divine. I'd recommend either the Delicious Almond Duo (£34.00, L'occitane) which contains a shower oil and a hand cream - I know for a fact my mum always carries hand cream and an indulgent shower product never goes a miss in my opinion. Or you could go a little bit more personal and get a set of 3 personalised shea butters (£25.00, L'occitane) which can be popped in their handbag and used on the go to sooth lips, hands and elbows which is especially handy in the cold weather.

For skincare junkies I'd go for something like the Pixi Glow Tonic and Mud Cleanser set (£28.00, Cult Beauty). I've wanted to try the Glow Tonic for so long because it has such good write ups - when Caroline Hirons tells you it's good, you know it's good.

Finally, if you're really looking to get into someone's good books ('hint, hint' at all the husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends out there... if your other half likes makeup then here's a huge heads up), I can highly recommend this set of Zoeva rose gold brushes (£65.00, Selfridges). Not only do they look amazing but Zoeva brushes apply makeup amazingly well and they're beautifully soft... quick note as well - they're selling out fast, I've changed this link twice as they've sold out on two websites so grab them quick if you're looking to buy them before xmas!
